Kartano Weekend 22.7.2012

Eilen suunnattiin Helsinkiin ja Tuomarinkartanoon, jossa järjestettiin perinteinen Kartano Weekend ja Suomen vinttikoiraliiton pääerikoisnäyttely. Irlanninsusikoirilla oli kasvattajatuomari Tony Redmond Irlannista ja paikalle olikin ilmottautunut 82 irlanninsusikoiraa innokkaine omistajineen. Vietimme erittäin mukavan päivän hyvässä seurassa kehän laidalla.

Yesterday we had the traditional Kartano Weekend that was also the Finnish sighthound club's specialty. The judge for Irish wolfhounds was Tony Redmond so we had a big group of 82 wolfhounds. We had a great day in good company :)

Koiristamme meillä oli mukana ainostaan Klaara, joka osallistui avoimeen luokkaan Maritan esittämänä. Klaara esiintyi rauhallisesti ja sai erinomaisen. Se sijoitettiin luokkakolmoseksi, mikä oli erittäin hieno saavutus, kun avoimeen luokkaan osallistui kaikkiaan 20 narttua. Klaara sai myös SAn.

Klaara was only one of our wolfhounds participating, and Marita handled it. Klaara showed itself nicely and patiently. It was placed as the third in its class out of 20 open class bitches, and it received also a QC.

The judge picked at first rougly ten out of 20 open class bitches, and then Klaara was picked amongst the best five for the final placements -- and it just kept standing patiently -- Helga couldn't ever manage the same ;) Here's the critics:

"Good quality, substance and nice curves. Good head. Nice long neck. However, she is not holding her ear terribly well. Very nice topline. Good mover but a little bit erratic with rear action. Good breath of hocks, well let down, very shaply."

Alla: Musti osallistui junioriluokkaan ja sai erinomaisen myöskin kolmannella sijoituksella, mutta tässä vaiheessa tuomari ei vielä jakanut kaikille sijoittuneille SA-palkintoja, kuten myöhemmissä luokissa. // Below: Marita's Musti in junior class where it received an excellent and was placed as the third. The judge started to give QCs for all the wolfhounds that received class placements after this class.

Alla: Suloisista suloisin Tuhru valioluokassa, jossa se sai myöskin erinomaisen ja sijoitettiin luokkansa toiseksi SA:n kera. // Below: Marita's adorable Tuhru that received an excellent with the second placement and a QC in the champion class.

Riverwolf-ryhmä, joka oli kuudesta kasvattajaryhmästä toinen ja sai KP:n. Ryhmään osallistui vasemmalta oikealla R. Herbrothers Daughter (avoimen lk eri/2, SA), R. Pocahontas (avoimen lk eri), R. Demi Moore eli Tuhru ja R. Mustang eli Musti.

Riverwolf breeder's group was placed as the second with a prize of honour out of the six presented groups. In the group (from left to right): R. Herbrothers Daughter (open cl ex/2, QC), R. Pocahontas (open cl ex), R. Demi Moore i.e. Tuhru ja R. Mustang i.e. Musti.
